Taking the Black Forest Cake- converting it into cupcakes, and using meringue instead of whipped cream- genius ideas. These were so much easier to deal with and decorate than the full cake is. And these Black Forest Cupcakes had wonderful timing for us- I had a game night party to attend last night and these were a big hit. I really liked this recipe! I’m not a huge chocolate cake fan, but they went over very well, and making all the components went so smoothly for me.
Plus, having leftover meringue is always great. The leftover got sandwiched into chocolate cookie dough I also had left over. Yum.
