Tuesdays with Dorie: Mocha Ricotta Puffs

IMG_1603.JPGI’m not new to the game of adding ricotta cheese to cookies- there’s a family ricotta cookie recipe here  that dates back a few generations and is by far the most used page of a family cookbook that spans multiple generations.

I happened to have whole milk ricotta in the fridge, so that was an invitation to make the Mocha Ricotta Puffs this month! And while we all agreed that the texture wasn’t the same as our family cookie recipe, these were pretty delicious! And extremely simple, so there are always extra points for that. These wonderful cookies come from Dorie’s Cookies by Dorie Greenspan

Our wedding is in less than two weeks, followed by a week and a half of honeymoon, but I’m hoping to be fully back into the Tuesday’s with Dorie game for May!
