I’ve missed you guys! The holidays, as always, got super busy and I’ve been busy helping my sister with her wedding planning. But I’m back with Date-Nut Pinwheels for February.
These were right up my alley. I love pinwheel and spiral cookies, icebox style cookies, and I loved the flavor profiles of the dough and the filling. I wasn’t disappointed! These are great, and we loved them. The brown sugar dough gives a depth of flavor that is matched well with the dates.
I’m also showing off an ivory bread and butter plate that is vintage Fiesta Ware, which was a recent antique mall find.
