These little chocolate cookies covered in powdered sugar hide a wonderful surprise- a gooey, brownie like, super chocolatey cookie bite. Needless to say, we’re in love with these, especially warm out of the oven.
I wasn’t sure I would be able to get these made as we were traveling and drove from 10am until 5pm today- but I did it! Just a little late for the “morning” part of Baked Sunday Mornings. We’re nearing the end of Baked Occasions by Matt Lewis, and I’m thrilled that these were so simple to throw together. Melt chocolate and butter, whip up the eggs, sugar and brown sugar, throw in the chocolate mixture and mix in the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Chill, scoop, roll, bake and done!
